Tanzania Safari Conclusion

We spent much of our last day in Tanzania on the road, with one stop at a very large, new galleria and art gallery with thousands of hand-crafted souvenirs and hundreds of art works on display. After an excellent lunch at local restaurant we continued on to Arusha where we were able to rest at the Coffee Lodge (where we had stayed the first two nights) for a few hours before heading to the airport and boarding our flight home via Dar es Salaam and Amsterdam.

All-in-all the trip far exceeded our high expectations. We were very blessed to be able to experience and learn so much with a wonderful group of fellow travelers and outstanding guides. While the animal sightings were spectacular and exciting the lasting impression we were left with was of the warm, welcoming people who have so little and yet are so happy and content. We could all learn from them!
